Team EMEA

Last month I described how Intelligent Hack grew from a personal project to a real company when we hired our first two "valued associates" Oded and Mariusz. A few weeks ago I introduced you to our first engineering team, team America.

Today I want to introduce our second engineering team: Team EMEA! Not wanting to be less than Team America and being true that naming stuff is hard they chose Europe, Middle-East and Asia (EMEA). I don't know what to think of this name 🎉. That said, they are amazing engineers! Let me present them one by one.

I worked with Antoine a few years back, and he has been on top of my "people I want to work with" since then. He is a principal engineer from Portugal with more than 10 years of experience in full-stack development. He's worked with companies of all sizes, from multinationals to startups. In his free time, he maintains the YamlDotNet open-source library, works on embedded / electronics projects, and reads Franco-Belgian comics.

Alireza is an Iranian developer. Prior to joining Intelligent Hack, he worked for an Iranian major airline on large projects. He loves always to learn new things and has an interest in mathematical models and Artificial Intelligence. Currently, he lives in Tehran, and in his free time, he enjoys running, mountain climbing, and spending time with his family.

Akın is from Turkey. He has been working as a full-stack developer for 4 years. He can work with many different languages, frameworks, and technologies. He's a developer that can be counted on anything from web app development to DevOps setup of observability systems. He is platform agnostic and proud of it! Not content with learning, he likes to teach to other people and spread his knowledge -- the best way to learn something is by teaching others

Shazvi comes from Sri Lanka. He is a programmer by day, gamer by night and while he has a background in accounting, he is a tech enthusiast at heart with a passion for programming. He's worked as a software developer for more than 4 years. During this time, he has have acquired skills in various areas of software development ranging from backend and frontend development to mobile development and a little bit of project coordination and DevOps.

Team EMEA

Please join me in welcoming them to the Intelligent Hack family: I'm looking forward to their future extraordinary achievements. Welcome, Team EMEA, and welcome, valued associates Antoine, Alireza, Akin and Shazvi!
